How are you?!!! I’m super excited to share a new to me brand today!! yayyy!! I have been wanting to work with Mardi from Supermoon Lacquer for some time now but wasn’t able to because of my hiatus. But, alas! here we are! But before I go on with this post I want to make sure that you understand that SuperMoon Lacquer is made by the very talented maker behind The Howling Boutique. Mardi makes both gorgeous polish and jewelry so make sure to check out her shop so you will see me mention both brands in this post.
The Chosen collection consists of polishes voted on by the members of The Howling Boutique’s Wolf Pack group on facebook, it is they who made suggestions, narrowed down shades and ultimately named the pretties; reason why this collection is called “the Chosen”. Isn’t that fun?? This is a seven piece collection of which I have four to show you. Let’s get to it!!
The Lone Heir
Is a violet multichrome with violet and purple to red color shifting shimmer.
The formula on this baby is perfect!!! I am very surprised with my first polishes from this maker, easy to work with, smooth, self leveling and they totally glide on the nail. You see two coats plus top coat in the pics. I have to admit though.. I’m a bit sad because I feel like you can’t truly see the multichrome shift to reddish on the pics but believe me it’s there!
And here it is with a matte top coat.
A blue based purple multichrome that shifts in color from bright purple to dark blue to bright green.
What a beauty!!! totally in love with this shade!! look at that gorge purple shift! perfection! formula was amazing also, you see two coats plus glossy top coat in the pics.
And here it is with a matte top coat on
A dark blue/teal holographic duochrome with turquoise-to-purple color shifting shimmer and iridescent blue-to-teal color shifting microglitter.
Another beauty from this brand.. the “simplest” of the four I am reviewing for you today but def as beautiful as it’s sisters. The formula on this was also quite lovely, no problems to report and only lots of ooh’s and ahhh to be said. You see two coats plus glossy top coat in the pics.
And here it is with a matte top coat
An olive-green based multichrome that shifts in color from bronze to gold to green
Ahhhh!!! this baby is life!! have you seen anything more beautiful?!! What a gorge shade! This is definitely going down in my yearly favorites of 2016!! LOVED the shade, the shift, the formula, the application.. errrythang about this goddess.
With a matte top coat
