FingerPaints Hard as Steel Strengthening Nail Color

Hello friends!!

How are you?? I’m still in recovery from surgery, haven’t been able to polish for three weeks now and I don’t foresee getting back to the grind anytime soon as I’m still hyper sensitive to scents. Thank God I got some swatching done before my surgery and here I am to share some of these with you!

I have mentioned before that I consider FingerPaints to be one of those great but sadly often overlooked brands! I have been swatching for them for a while now and their formulas are consistently great! The shades beautiful and just a good brand all around! This time I’m sharing with you some of the new Hard as Steel Strengthening Nail Colors. This line contains a blend of fruit and flower oils and oxygen carriers which help strengthen and hide imperfections (ridge filler) while respecting the natural physiology of the nail, isn’t that great? Let’s take a look at the shades.

My Best Self-Portrait

Stop! Impasto!

Shut The Front Salvador

A P-Ink Mess

Lavender Brushstrokes

Kiss Me Like Hue Mean It

I Have The Painters Hues

All pictures are two coats plus glossy top coat, like I said before the formula is amazing on all of them. Super easy to work with and fast drying. My favorite would definitely be My Best Self-Portrait, just love that subtle blue hue.

FingerPaints is exclusively available at Sally Beauty Supply stores or you can purchase online here.

Thank you so much for reading and for sticking with me while I get back on my feet!

  1. I’m really loving My Best Self Portrait. You know me, the shimmer beast, haha! Really fantastic review. I’m going to have to check these out. Your swatches make me want them. <3

  2. I only have 2 fingerpaints I’ve yet to use – I just don’t seem to purchase mainstream anymore. Indies have spoiled me 😛 I do love these nice neutral colors though!
