Guest Post – Two Girls One Blush- Velashaa

Hi friends!!

On today’s guest post we will meet the fun and totally adorable Velashaa, I have seen this cutie pie floating around social media and my heart just fills with warmth whenever I see her posts. I don’t know why it just does, sometimes you just get a feeling and you have to go with it! So, I had to ask her to guest post for me bc I only want the best for you guys!! Let’s get to know her a bit better!

Hihi! I’m Velashaa, the oddball behind Two Girls One Blush! I’m a twenty-something geek spending my time between Georgia and Indiana with a whole lot of Southern sass and twang. I was recently introduced to Monica through the awesome polish groups on Facebook and I was beyond thrilled when she asked me if I’d like to guest post. Serious fan girl moment here, y’all.

Anywho. It was a bit tough trying to pick what to blog about since she’s covered quite a few brands, but I think I’ve found the perfect mini collection to share! Philly Loves Lacquer is a new-to-me brand, but I’ve been fawning over their polishes since they were featured as a Hella Holo Customs maker a few months back. I won a super ginormous giveaway and a gift card for PLL was included. The time to indulge had come! I snagged a set of their Dirty 30 Birthday trio along with a few other customs that I should have up on my blog in the next few weeks.

Esther recently released a trio of beautiful jellies in honor of her 30th birthday (but we should all agree to just say that she’s 29 for the rest of forever) and they’re simply wonderful. The formula, oh man. It’s great, too. I’m always excited to see indies live up to the hype, and PLL did just that with these babies.

Foxy Lady; “a pinkish red jelly filled with holo micro glitter and a bit of holo sparkle” I’m a sucker for red polish. Always have been. My mother never let me wear anything close to red as a child (aside from Christmas), so my polish rebellion began with the seductive color. Foxy Lady is just that. Seductive. Alluring. Gorgeous. The formula was a tad bit thin, so I used three coats (my norm is super thin anyhow, so that was probably it), but had no issues with settling or it getting gummy. Seche Vite topped the manicure – as it did with all three – and I was all set! Honestly, I was pretty reluctant to pull this one off and try the next one. It’s just so pretty.

Forever 29; “a deep purple jelly filled with ultra chrome chameleon flakies in blue/violet and pink/gold/green, as well as a bit of holo sparkle” The flakies in this one are to die for, y’all. Seriously. That, and the purple jelly base, oh man. I’m in love. This one took three thin coats as well, but only because I went a little too thin, as I had before. That, and I think purple jelly polishes are almost always on the sheer side, no matter what. No complaints here, just me, drooling over my nails each time they catch my eye.

Eighty6; “a deep teal jelly filled with holo micro glitter and a bit of holo sparkle” You guys. Eighty6. Is. Amazing. I don’t wear blue or green or any variation of the two, just because they tend to make me either look super pale or oddly tan and I’m just not a fan. This, however, is one that everyone needs in their collection. It’s mysterious. It’s enchanting. It is life. Two perfect coats and you’re good to go. It’s super densely packed, but I didn’t have any issues with the glitter coming off or not settling. Absolutely beautiful.

Aren’t they purdy? This set is available still, and will be until Esther runs out of stock. You’ll want to pick this up, I promise. It’s perfect for any time of the year.

And with that, I’m out and heading back over to my little corner of the blogisphere. I appreciate y’all having me and taking the time to read this!
