SOOO beyond excited today to show you six of the 9 shades (8 Sheer and 1 metallic) from the OPI ColorPaints collection! I’d been seeing these guys around social media for a little while and really wanted to try them so I’m super happy I was finally able to play with them a little.
At first I thought “yay!! let’s get to nail art!” but once I started playing with them I realized these are not your typical “only for nail art” super sheer tints, NO! these are actually pretty opaque and super pretty on their own even without a base. So I wanted to show you these one by one before I spam you with nail art.
You see two coats plus top coat (Seche Vite) in all pics
Pen & Pink
How pretty are these? I was so pleasantly surprised with them! Formula was very nice and flowy with good drying time (I waited three minutes between coats). As far the pictures you see, I feel like Primarily Yellow would look so much better on shorter nails and even though Turquoise Aesthetic looked beautiful and evenly opaque on my nails, the lighting makes it look a bit patchy. None the less, I am REALLY loving the color payoff on these babies and feel like they’re a great investment. So if you’re in the market for tints definitely pick these up!
What to do with ColorPaints? Well the sky is the limit for any nail lover. Whether it be sponged on, brushed on, saran wrapped, sandwhiched… they work beautifully in my opinion and this is what I’ve done so far (all of the above of course) but believe me.. I’m not done with these at all!
Thank you so much for reading!! Hope you like the manis!
