*****Personal post and very picture heavy*****
Today I have a bit of a personal post for you!! A couple of weeks ago I had the immense pleasure of meeting one of my dearest oldest friends in person, yes haha we have been chatting from different parts of the world for over 14yrs. Isn’t that crazy? when we first met she was in Uruguay and I was in NJ and then I moved to the North of Spain and she later moved to the South of Spain and then I moved back to the States as she was moving to the North of Spain, seems like we’ve been playing a game of cat and mouse for ages and were never able to actually meet until a couple of weeks ago when she came to NYC on vacation! my heart was so happy to finally hug her after so many yrs and so many stories shared.
I had been extremely busy and I hadn’t had any time to do a decent mani but my nails looked a mess and you know a nailgirl cannot go out for dinner with chipped nails.. no way. It was time to try to do something cute with no time a.k.a do a sparkly nail and call it a day so I went to my untried box and picked out two polishes I’ve had for AGES, maybe over 6mo?. I was NOT prepared for the absolute love I was going to feel in a minute. I picked up two of the polishes I bought last year from KBShimmer’s Collaboration with E! Entertainment and I have to say I LOVE when life surprises me like this. Low & Be Bold and Ice Queen are such beauties!
The formula on both was beautiful, three coats for L&BB and two brushed on + one sponged on coats of IQ, I found both to be very easy to work with which is great specially for a glitter. This topper is filled with silver holo glitters of different shapes and sizes including some beautiful diamond shaped ones which killed me, so beautiful ad unique! Unfortunately like I said I had very little time so I didn’t take a proper pic showing this topper in a less packed nail but here is a close up of the three coats I mentioned before.
I loved this combo so much that I turned it into jewelry 🙂
And even the MetLife Building wanted to match my nails that day…
And Ice Queen was as sparkly as my diamonds..
And just cause I love this city….
Thank you sooo very much for reading!! I hope you liked the post!
