So happy to bring you the Finger Paints Bright Light Big City Collection today!! I’m really excited as this is my first Finger Paints collab, and this collection was definitely a great way to start! You’ll see why in a sec 😉
The Bright Light Big City collection is made of 6 polishes, two of which are glitters. Let me show them to you one by one.
*Hey Mr. DJ! – is a beautiful black jelly with silver, red and blue micro glitter. I LOVED this polish! It’s cool and funky and unique. Definitely not the usual kind of glitter you normally see. You see two easy and flowy coats on my nails.
And of course, MATTE!!
*Paint the town purple – gorgeous glass fleck light purple shimmer with pink/blue shifts. YES! I kept the dark pictures because I think they are more true to color and because my skin looks so tanned. Love it! Three coats of it on my nails <3
*Urban lights – is a beautiful duo chrome glass fleck on black jelly that shifts purple/blue. I do have to say the purple shift is a little more alive on the bottle BUT the polish on the nail is also beautiful. You see two coats on the pics.
*What a night- I was blown away by this polish although it’s not my typical go to kind of shade. The shift on this baby is beautiful, three thin coats and you can really appreciate the multichrome and all its shifts (gold, copper, pink). Really really nice
*Looking pretty in the city– yes! You see one coat of this clear base glitter with silver holo and small pink hex glitter on top of a very soft gray here. This is the perfect glitter for a date or a party. It was easy to work with, the glitter spread evenly, I don’t think more than a coat is needed but of course that’s up to you.
*Dance Floor Diva- this topper made up of blue, purple, silver, black, pink hex and square glitters of various sizes on a sheer purple base was my least favorite of the collection, no specific reason I just like the others much more. You see one coat on top of a metallic lavender base, the glitters didn’t spread as nicely as the “looking pretty” but a thin coat and then very minor glitter placement to cover baldies if any should be enough to give you a nice even nail.
So what did you think of the collection? I found the shades to be very pretty and unique especially for mainstream. Do check them out they are worth it!
This collection is exclusively available at Sally Beauty Supply and should be in stores RIGHT NOW! Or you can buy them online here.
