Hello friends!
All you’ll want for Christmas is this plate!! Actually you will want it before Christmas so you can take full advantage of it!
Last year I spent a LOT of time trying to freehand my xmas manis, which I won’t lie.. Was pretty fun. But I’m very happy that there are other options as free hand is usually very time consuming. So, I’m excited to have plate 120 from MoYou Nails this year!!!
Let me show you the plate, unlike the other two plates I’ve shown you here and here, plate 120 has 7 images instead of 5. All of which are Christmas themed except for the cute little owl in the center which can be used anytime. Here is a pic of the plate:
And here I’ll show you pics of the images one by one, again the images were very easy to pick up using regular polish (Sally Hansen, OPI, China Glaze) and without needing to prime the stamper.
Here you have five of the images in a mani to which I added a couple of details just to personalize it a bit. Colors used for the base: white- OPI Alpine Snow, Gold- Mentality Nirvana , Red- Covergirl Forever Festive, blue- Zoya Dream
For the two remaining images I decided to do two manis, the first for Rudolph using a nude (Sally Hansen Salon- Nude Now) base topped with a holo topper (MDJ Creations- Earth’s Ember) and simple brown (China Glaze – Street Chic) for the rest.
For the second mani, I used Sally Hansen Sugar Shimmer in Berried Under stamped with Sally Hansen’s Pronto Purple but I’m not too happy with it, I feel like the contrast in colors is not noticeable enough and it doesn’t make the owl stand up as it should. I tried different combinations but I think the problem is the base.. 🙁 the rest of the fingers are freehanded.
