Here I am again with a review for one of my favorite brands! ella+mila launched its Dream collection last winter and let me tell you it is to die for! This time they have included frosts, metallics, crèmes, and glitters. This is definitely a well rounded collection and I cannot wait to show it to you!
Let me show them to you one by one.
*entice me- Is the first polish I tried from the collection, this is a gorgeous lavender metallic that dries matte, very elegant as is the style with this brand. You see two coats on my nails no top coat.
This base inspired me to go for a delicate flower mani using “pure love” and “bang bang” also from this brand.
*bang bang– is a jaw dropping in your face metallic purple, the color is very rich and builds up in just one coat although I went for two in the pics you see below. It was a silvery finish to it.
For my nail art I went with some silver snowflakes which I stamped using “mirror mirror” also from this collection
*bad obsession– I have no idea how they do it but it seems like every collection has the perfect red in it, the elite collection had “in line for wine” and this one has this amazing creamy like butter gorgeous candy apple red that’s to die for! the formula is sooo perfect and the color is just gorgeous. You see it here with “on thin ice” one of two glitters part of this collection, the coverage on these is great two coats and it’s completely opaque.
*my fantasy– my fantasy was a tricky polish for me, I am not a big fan of these frosty finishes but I have to say I might be changing my mind after trying this. I was very happily surprised at the fact that it was opaque with 3 thin coats and I really like this mani. it’s very feminine and I’m all for that!
*g-old money– you see this golden glitter on top of “pure love”, this glitter is very easy to work with and perfect size for both glitter placement or as base. I decided to go with the first as this was my official Christmas mani.
*gilded- WOW finally the gold metallic I was looking for!! not too yellowy or orange, just the perfect shade of gold. Opaque in one coat, not overwhelming at all for a full mani. this is perfect!!! I used it as base for my poinsettia mani. and this is one of my favorite manis of the year.
*mirror mirror- was my last mani of the year, this is gorgeous. I remember when OPI’s Push and Shove came out everyone went crazy about it only to find out that it would only stay on your nails for hours. Well… I don’t even want to compare the two. ella+mila’s mirror mirror is metallic silver, opaque in one coat has an added twinkly shimmer to it that makes it shine as you move your hands and is amazing as far as durability, I have had it on my nails for SIX days now without a chip and without top coat! so perfect!
I want to congratulate ella+mila for this amazing collection; it has a little bit of everything and everything good. The quality of the formulas are on point as always. Your crèmes are butter!! and your metallics are amazing; they are also amazing for stamping. Amazing job!! and thank you once again for allowing me to review these for you.
Thank you so much for reading; if you haven’t tried this brand, you need to get on that! you will not regret it!
