Cherry Blossom Flower Mani / Mani Flor de Cerezo

Hi girls!!!

I am soo happy to bring you this mani today.. I have been wanting to do a collab with  my dear nail art friend Helena from Easy Nail Art Ideas because we seem to think of the same manis often. So we set a date and got down to business. I was very scared bc this girl is GOOD! We decided to do Cherry Blossoms since we had never done them before and we both really wanted to try it. Have you tried this mani before?

In my case I searched Pinterest of course for pictures of the actual flower because I find it so beautiful! and I also knew that I wanted a pink background instead of the typical green/blue you usually see.

*This is what I used:

cherry blossom 4

-Makeup sponge

-Dotting tool

-MoYou Jewel wheel

-Sinful Colors – White on white

-China Glaze- Street Chic

-Shany Stripers in pink and light brown

-Briche- red

-Essie – French Affair (not featured in the pink. used as the base color)

-Thin striping brush

-Nail art brush

*The first thing I did after painting two coats of pink “French Affair” by Essie was draw the branch with the help the thin striping brush and the color Street Chic by China Glaze. Even though you can barely see these on the finished many, they helped as a guide on where I wanted my flowers to go.

*Next I made a red hue around the branches because I wanted my white flowers to have a red outline. I did this using a makeup sponge and a red polish by the brand Briche

*Next I painted my flowers.. how? very simple.. using a nail art brush and white polish.. I first made a thick horizontal line (you want the edges to be rough) and then painted another thick line vertically to form the shape of a thick cross. This does not have to be perfect. Do not worry if it looks like a blob!

*Now lets use our Shany stripers to give the flower definition by drawing soft outlines on the petals (in pink) and filling in the flower (in light brown).

*Slap a couple of flower shaped jewels on the rest of the fingers and you are done! Hope you like the finished result! 😉

cherry blossom collab

****Hola Chicas!!!****

cherry blossom 4

-Esponja de maquillaje

-Dotting grande

-MoYou piedritas

-Sinful Colors – White on white

-China Glaze- Street Chic

Ps thank you so much for including my info although I still have to write post dedicated to our collaboration :-*

Preciosaaa..!! Besosss
